Trouble codes

Press "Read codes" to scan.

ABS / ESP (traction control)

Chassis "C" codes from the ABS/ESP module (VW-specific, UDS). Won't clear if the fault is currently active.
Press "Read codes" to scan the ABS module.

Airbag / SRS

⚠ Safety-critical. Reading is safe. Clearing only helps for soft/stored codes and will NOT clear an active fault or locked crash data — never rely on a cleared code to mean the airbag is functional. Disconnect the battery before working on SRS wiring.
Press "Read codes" to scan the airbag module.

UDS ECU scan

Read-only. Probes each VAG module through the gateway, then dumps engine identification DIDs (0xF180–0xF1FF). No coding, no security access, no writes.
